AxCrypt Business

Introduction

AxCrypt offers a free plan that anyone can use. For extended functionality, we provide two paid plans: Premium and Business.

  • Premium Plan: Intended for private individuals, not for organizations.
  • Business Plan: Designed for organizations, allowing you to purchase and manage licenses for multiple users.

For detailed terms, please refer to our Terms of Use. You can also check out our Pricing page for more information.

A Business subscription enables organizations to purchase and manage licenses for multiple users. For EU-based companies with a valid VAT number, we offer VAT-free purchases on the Business plan. Please note that VAT-free sales are not available for the Premium plan.

Create a Business Subscription

  1. Sign-up for AxCrypt Business and login using your account credentials.
  2. Enter your business details, including your company name, address, and EU VAT number.
  3. Choose the number of member licenses you need, with the first assigned to you as the administrator. You can always add more later. Enter your business details and payment information to complete the setup.
  4. You will be presented with a total amount, and a calculation showing your discount (if provided) and VAT being applied. Click the button with the credit card logo, and complete the purchase.

Note: Upon completing the purchase, you are automatically designated as the administrator.

Manage Your Business Subscription

  1. Sign in with an AxCrypt ID on our website and ensure that you are designated as the administrator.
  2. You can update your business name, address, and EU VAT number (if applicable) in the AxCrypt ID section. Please note that the information we store is limited to these details.
  3. Add or Remove Members:

  4. As the administrator, you can add or remove members as necessary:
    • If there is a new member who doesn’t have an AxCrypt ID, they will receive an invitation email to create one.
    • Existing AxCrypt users will receive a welcome email upon being added.

Note:You cannot remove yourself as the administrator or from the subscription.

Manage users

Efficiently manage your AxCrypt Business subscription by adding, removing, or updating user roles.

    Add users

    • Navigate to Add Users and either manually enter the email addresses or import a list in the form of .txt or .csv files. Users will be added according to your available license capacity.

    Add Users to Groups:

    • Go to Groups section, where you can select an existing Group or create a new one to add existing/new users based on available licenses. Users can directly be added to business and group together.
    • For detailed instructions on managing groups, refer to the Group Management Guide

    Remove Existing Users:

    • Ensure that no group is selected during the process. Select the user by checking the box next to their name.
    • In the action menu, choose Delete to remove the user from your subscription.

    Update Existing User Role:

    • Navigate to the Users section in your account.
    • Update the user’s role from a standard user to user admin, or vice versa.

Note: There must always be at least one active admin in your subscription.

Purchase Additional Licenses:

You can purchase additional member licenses for your Business by following either of the following two ways:

    • Subscription Details: You can purchase more licenses and add members directly through the subscription Details.
    • User Section: You can also add more users through the user section in the business subscription, but only when all existing licenses are used. The option to add more users will appear only in this case.

This ensures a smooth process for managing user access and expanding your team.

    Understand the Billing Period:

When you purchase additional member licenses, it is always for your current subscription period. So, if you have 5 months left until the whole subscription is up for renewal, additional member licenses will only require payment for the remaining 5 months. Time left is always calculated as whole months, so 50 days will count as two full months.

    Automatic Renewal:

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the current period using the original payment method. To cancel, you must do so before the end of the subscription period.
