Quick Tips
Files once encrypted will have an extension .axx
Always use strong, complex passwords and remember not to forget it. AxCrypt is encryption with no backdoors. Without the password your files are lost. Do not forget your password! Always keep proper backups of important files, encrypted or not.
AxCrypt 2 can decrypt files from AxCrypt 1, but not vice versa.
