What is Text Encryption?
Need to share a confidential piece of text? AxCrypt lets you encrypt plain text in seconds. Simply enter the text, secure it with your account password or a custom password, and share the encrypted output via email, private messages, and more. As a sender, you can copy the encrypted text to your clipboard or download it as a .txt file to share through email. The recipient can then paste the encrypted text into the AxCrypt app and decrypt it instantly. It’s also an easy way to secure email communication and chats.
AxCrypt uses industry-standard AES-256 encryption, ensuring strong protection for your text. This is the same level of encryption used by government and enterprise-grade security systems. All text encryption and decryption processes occur locally on your device. Your text is never uploaded to any server, ensuring complete privacy and control over your data.
Quick Tips
🔐 Keep your password secure: Share it only with intended recipients and avoid sending it through insecure channels.
📝 Double-check your text: Ensure your input is accurate before encrypting, since encrypted text cannot be edited.
🛡️ Custom Password: Store your password safely (password manager recommended). AxCrypt cannot recover or reset it for you, as we never have access to your password.
